Could it be possible that the move around buttons would be visible even when you are working on a project and you would automatically stop the project when you start travelling / go to or leave from a room? Or even better if there could be direction buttons in the events screen. Since when the server is working slowly, going out is formed of a process
1) Politely inform the others you'll be going
2) Drop the project
3) Load the location page
4) Click to move
Each state will take minutes to load.
Ok I know Cantr is no chatroom but be this a more simple system, all you'd need is /quit g2g now bye
I just know you hate this if you even got what I was trying to say but maybe something could be worked on it.
Drop a project and run out, one click

I think just allowing people to use the location/building buttons whilst working on projects (whereby using them leaves the project they are on) would help cut it down to 3 steps (1. say goodbye, 2. load page, 3.click button) which I think is a good return for a quick solution (trying to do more than that would be a lot more difficult and time consuming)

On a (sort of) similar subject, one thing that takes wastes minutes and drives me nuts is hunting.
You have to click 'Location', click 'Funky-looking Duck' click the animal you want to hit, then select your weapon and click to actually hit it.
And then you get taken back to the events page and have to repeat the process all over again, usually several times, since most people don't just hunt one animal.
It would definitely be nice if after hitting one you were taken right back to the screen with the list of animals, thus saving two clicks for each one you hunt.
