I agree

I don't.

Maybe a few, but there have been at least nine focused soley on tiredness... I think that is enough!

Then it should be noticed that it is a problem that needs dealt with ASAP, nothing should have been done until the problems from the tiredness issue where worked out. It was a major change, complete change of the fundamental basics if truth be told, and it hasn't been given the attention it needs. Tiredness does nothing but take away from the game, sure it is a good concept but it shouldn't have brought the game to a screaching halt.

I read the thread about the Karnon war, and you know what? That's what I told West was going to happen when I quit. There will never be a winner under the current system, Blackrock can't ever break out of the forest, and they are too holed up to be taken out with a frontal attack, all due to the fact that the tiredness has crippled the combat system and the game in general. And adding the item deteriation before the tiredness problems were fixed made the bad joke turn horrible.

First of all I want to state clearly that I do not complain about tiredness. None of my characters suffers too much from it.
One of them just saw a woman in her twenties with the tiredness bar completely red!
I wonder when is she going to finish her project :D

I just noticed they're not so tired after all, only the ones that are hunting or digging graves are really tired, actually I got several that are little or no tired at all. Hooray! Maybe it's not so terrible after all.

That's what I've been saying all along. It was just because of that first week or two that everything got messed up. After everyon ereali9zed that repeat projects don't work tiredness wasn't that big of a problem.

Have you ever tried making anything? Especially one of Richard's more elaborate bows? Let's try this:... make a bow, bury several bodies and help chase and try killing a homicidal maniac. Try that combo!

Actually belay that. In most small towns nobody even buries bodies anymore. Sure, I have characters who travel a lot and inbetween that they merely harvest. Never more than 8% tired at most and they soon recover. Others stand around reciting poetry. No problem. It's my characters who actually tried to achieve something, to rebuild a town, to achieve some position of leadership, to make the world go round, who are suffering.

What's the recovery rate meant to be? I'm sure I've heard people citing 4% when resting and 2% when travelling but what's the definition of resting. I've got a character who's tiredness got up to 30%. I've been monitoring him carefully and it's been going down by 2% a day, whether travelling or just standing around in town doing nothing very much at all.

Does going into a building count as activity? I'm wondering if I need to find a quiet corner to spend a week in a comatose state in order to get back to full wakefulness!

Ok here's the deal. If you just stand around, you will get 4% a day. If you have any kind of project going, something that has a % completed on your characters page, you'll be getting 2%.

There is an interesting theory that's been suggested incase you're still getting 2% a days when doing nothing but talking, pointing and moving about inside a town. The weak and strong traits when you look at the character's description may affect the rate they rest. I have not researched this to prove it's validity. Let me know if I've helped.
Reality was never my strong point.

The character has done nothing project based so I was expecting 4% recovery. However, the character is 'weak'. I'll see what happens if he stands around all day doing nothing other than speaking...

It does make a certain amount of sense to have characters recover at different rates but I'd like to be sure it's a feature, not a bug!

So what you are saying is that the element of individuality has been removed. I fail to see how this is a bad thing.

Or at the least you are saying that your character which work the most are getting the most tired?

Another day of doing absolutely nothing except saying a few words and another whole 2%...

I can live with it but, if it's a bug, let me know!

Must.... go.... sleep...... now...... ;)

I am saying much the same thing that Ephiroll and many others have said, but subject of course to the more limited experience and much lower ages and significance of my characters. I have a general sense of history having ended, of the game's "motion" being mired in syrup...

When I say "motion" I don't mean necessarily "progress". There have been dark ages in history and this should be possible in Cantr too. But our current dark age is frankly boring. Even the would-be barbarians are too tired to be worth anything.
