I got some repeating themes that might be common for others too:
Social:
- Getting friends
- Finding somebody to love
- That the one(s) they love would feel the same
- To be reunited with lost (a) loved one(s) after death
- To meet old friends again (without dying first)
- To get rid of an annoying person / people / community
- To be able to take care of someone (children?)
- To reach a leading position
- To be respected
- To be useful
- To be famous
- To be feared
- That the world was a better place
Materialistic:
- Getting a house / room / lock for an existing house
- Getting good equipment (iron, steel)
- Getting rich (gold + other jewellery)
- Getting something special (so that neighbours would be jealous)
- Getting nice clothes
Other:
- Spiritual enlightenment
- To get revenge
- To get justice
- To have sex
- To be healthy
- To get food
- To stay alive
- To find peace in death
Some special ones that I wouldn't like to scrunch down into little pieces:
He would like to have a nice place with lots of soft furniture to lie upon, preferably with a pretty girl or two. But being inside a building should not restrict socializing. And of course lots of different food, not just potatoes - a perfect consumer.
She used to have big dreams - to be trusted, given a chance to organize things and people, having children - but now shrunken down to just that the pain would stop, and that she could spend more time with the one she loves before it's too late.
