We'll soon make all glass items use refining skill, so expect that to happen in the next week. Any projects you set up -now- will still use the old skill (or no skill) even if finished later, so you can plan ahead if you wish.

Foul-smelling soap was finally changed to lard soap. In addition, soap will no longer decay over time. Instead, it will use a decay-per-use system where each use makes it decay a little more. We're hoping that this will mean more people will use soap now and hopefully you will let us know if it changed things for you in-game. Shop owners everywhere rejoice.

Also, wheeled display case. Bookcases can be disassembled. Carvings and figurines are visible from inventory. Several new items can be labelled. Also, paper bags are new.

Enjoy.

I just noticed the soap change. And THANK YOU for balancing wooden plates, that one always used to bug me.

I like the sound of just about all of those changes, and I certainly look forward to making some soaps now! :D

Minor changes in preparation for the new lamps being added:
- candle lifetime went from 5 days to 40 days
- fireplaces now allow custom lengths for "cozy fire" project, because it was deemed annoying to set up a new project every day

As usual please report any bugs.

EDIT:
- All glass projects now use refining. Old projects were not affected.
- Jewelry boxes are now lockable.
- Coffee candy

Coffee candy? How is that supposed to be made? Wiki isn't updates yet and I can't seem to find it on any machine currently available near my cook.

Damn, just as my soaps decayed away. This is good improvement however cause now you can use soaps more often ;) Time to bath..

GreeK wrote:Hello,

Please also be prepared for a change in the burying process in the following days.

After the change, dead bodies will not disappear immediately when the project is started. They will be removed from the game only when the burying project is complete.

To ensure project progress the body will need to be in the same location, so it'll work the same as for repairs or disassembling.

It also means that bodies that were already removed by currently existing and unfinished burying projects will need to be recreated to keep all projects (old and new) consistent.

Kind regards,

THIS IS THE RESURRECTION!!! ARISE!!!

I want the bug where all old characters come back to life again.

And then they'll just stand there. Staring.
