Curtains and blinds no longer require logs, instead the rail is assumed to be part of the interior of the building. That could be the window frame, or the building itself. Existing projects still require logs and need to be restarted. This change was done to encourage more people to build them, as not a lot of people had made them.

As a reminder, these are the curtain types available:
- Wool
- Silk
- Cotton
- Hemp

And two types of blinds:
- Wood
- Rice paper

All random capital letters should be gone now (lots of furniture and objects had the first letter capitalised). Make sure to report any weird object names or out-of-place capital letters you see.

For example: you shouldn't get "You see a man in his twenties point at Candle." anymore, with candle now being lowercase.

Great! Those capital letters has always annoyed me (but not enough to actually do something aboutthem :) ).

Having finally got to the point (after sailing along the coast a bit, closer to where I wanted to go) of having saddled an animal and riding it down a (sand) road now, I'd just like to really say WOW, THANK YOU, THIS IS AWESOME!

So you're vain, but do you have a mirror?

Unless otherwise stated, the mirror uses silver paint and a paintbrush behind window glass. All of them are custom describable.
Fixed
Mirror (has a wooden frame)
Golden mirror
Silver mirror
Bronze mirror (primitive, no silver paint/glass)
Obsidian mirror (primitive, no silver paint/glass)
Bejewelled mirror (pearls, ruby, emerald)

Portable
Wooden hand mirror
Golden hand mirror
Silver hand mirror
Bejewelled hand mirror
Bronze hand mirror
Obsidian hand mirror

PS. If your favourite mirror isn't in-game yet, look again later. I'm still implementing them. EDIT: all added. Please report any bugs!

EDIT: Also these were added by Pilot:

Lemon drops
Candied ginger
Hard candy
Maple sugar candy
Lokum
Nut brittle

Pumpkin stew
Pumpkin pie
Pumpkin curry
Pumpkin soup

Strawberry cheesecake
Mushroom soup
Lamb curry

Ooo... *adds to the list of things to make*

I actually should make little lists for each character...I'm starting to forget the things they'd really like

All of these are awesome. :D I've got two characters who NEED a mirror, and one of mine is all set up to make candied ginger right now, in fact.

I've never even seen a pumpkin in game but kind of want to try making pumpkin curry IRL now...

BTW are there more recipes already planned using herbs and such or is that something it would be worthwhile posting suggestions for?

Recipes with herbs just aren't that interesting because they're all the same. Once you have one type, you have them all and you can create an infinite amount more with very little effort. Fortunately Pilot had some good ideas like candied ginger to diversify them a little, and you're welcome to suggest your own. Many suggestions on the suggestion forum aren't worked out very well. When suggesting something you should consider the ingredients, time, machines (and which fuel), tools, nourishment/healing rate, quantities made.

Personally I'm more interested in creating regionally diverse plants.

Woah, Pilot wasn't kidding when he said we were getting piñatas!! Thank you, Wiro and Pilot!!

Time to role-play getting seasick too, candied gingers are really good for helping with that!

I use fresh herbs all the time cooking IRL and it's just disappointing to me that in the game they're so useless for everything except some of the apothecary mixes. And I agree they're too easily available, but it would at least use some of them up if people started cooking with them more, even just as a roleplay thing.

Oh, and random horse question here: What would happen if you tried to butcher one?

There's no horse meat yet. It should not be possibly to butcher them.

If people want chocolate, there's a rather ambitious suggestion right here. It'll require lively discussion if we're ever going to see it implemented. It's unique in that it does not require programming and uses already existing systems.
