I'm seeing Rush on Friday. Nothing tops that! My year is made.
You obviously realise how ridiculous that sounds, so I shan't be pointing it out.
@Surly: I'd love to see them earlier than August (god knows I've waited a lifetime) but that's too faraway from me (the venue not the date. :p).

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
My dad got me tickets to see 311 and Sublime with Rome in August as an early 30th b-day present.
I'm pretty excited!
On another note, I feel like I have been neglecting my chars. With my move, I haven't had the time or energy to play well.
Here's to hoping that I am able to play better when I am completely unpacked. Please don't hate me or my chars for not being on as much!

I have been neglecting mine. Lately I seem to find less and less of a want to play most of them. So for those suffering through it with me I apologize. I'm trying but we'll see how it goes.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Something has just not been agreeing with me lately. It's probably something I ate, but shouldn't it be gone by now? I felt like this all of yesterday. I felt it when I randomly woke up in the middle of the night on Saturday night/early Sunday morning (it was probably around 01:30), as a sharp, burning pain in my side. All I wanted to do today during band (which is from around 12:50 to 14:20) was collapse, and I got overheated and sweaty even though it actually wasn't that hot in the band room today, and I'm sure those was a result of this thing/stuff that just doesn't want to go away and leave me alone. It hurts right now no matter what I do.
Ehhhhh.
Other than that, band concert--I'm sorry, Arts Extravaganza--in less than two days. Woohoo.
And I'm still being a winner and seeing Nothing on Friday.

Do you have your appendix? That was how I felt when mine needed to come out.

Totally sounds like that. My mother has problems with that as well, if she eats to much red meats or any kind of fruit or veggies with seeds in them she has intense pain, which sounds like what your describing.

The fact that I produce conceptually dense posts and then assume that people will understand what I am attempting to express, despite the differences in experience or background. Or even assume that someone will be bothered to ask what the F*$k are you talking about, rather than just ignoring it.
I know better, and care enough to do better, and I keep doing it and getting frustrated.

That doesn't sound too far off, actually. I'm not so sure about the constipation considering yesterday, but then again, the fact that I still had urges with no yield (other than gas) even after that brings it back into play. I'm not experiencing nausea or discomfort of that sort, except after I eat tons of candy without something else to go with it, although last time that happened (Friday night) a glass of milk eased it quite nicely actually.
Cheshirekat, I thought about that too, actually, and I was doing research on it last night. Some of it sounds like what I have, and I'm smack dab in the center of the age range of people most likely to get it. One big thing deters me from believing it's appendicits though: the pain isn't exclusively on the right side; it goes over to the far left sometimes. It goes back and forth at random, and it hasn't been debilitating at all except yesterday after school before I relieved myself and when it woke me up in the middle of the night. Also, I haven't had any fevers (that I know of).
One more thing, and I don't know how relevant it is considering how long this has been happening: whenever I'm sitting on the couch with my laptop and I have my feet to one side of me so that my side is...twisted? Not twisted but....eh, I think y'all get what I mean..., after awhile the sharp pain comes to whichever side is more constricted and only goes away after I shift positions. This has been happening for at least a month, probably longer.
It's not hurting right now, just a mild urge.
And I haven't told my parents (well, technically this is telling my dad here) because I know my mom will freak out and make me submit to what will probably be a very painful and annoying battery of tests which I don't want to go through because it disrupts my normal life and so far this gastrointestinal problem or whatever hasn't so much.
Cwalen: We're humans. We all have short attention spans and we're all selfish. It's an undeniable fact.
Not to mention sometimes I feel awkward asking about certain things.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I have my first final, in a set of three finals in less than 20 hours, in three hours and all I've done is be fed sugar, have discussions with someone discussing the attractiveness of Dr. Jonathan Crane (after explaining the similarities between him and Dr. Hugo Strange), geek out doing volumetric math, and, most recently, have serious discussions about Batman, Batman villains, and X-Men.
Yep, I'm so going to ace those finals....

My pain...was in the center of my stomach right under my ribs....it can move around....for a month before it came out I was having random pain on the left, right, down, back...everywhere....it was sucky.
