a grid would be a location, and then right next to it is another location, take a turn to travel between them, maybe you could set a direction to keep travelling if you wanted.

There would still be 8 or whatever roads to choose, but they wouldn't be very long because the next location would be so close.

So there are more roads and locations, they are just near to each other

Well as long as most of them were not paths but directions.

So how do you go about automatically moving like today? Would the directions be a minimum a day to travel on?

Well, i don't know.

Programming in routes o travel is all very well, but could mean that no one bothers to look at the locations they pass, so perhaps manual travelling, rather than programming directions in?

That's why I like bypasses.

You can choose when you start whether to stop half way there or not.

Or course if you don't have a map then you wouldn't know a bypass from the other routes.

A bypass past Drojf or Krif or both would be nice. Less people breezing though.

I don't follow you.

Do you mean if there was a grid system, or similar, people could bypass Krif and Drojf?

Yes. Or even if there wasn't. A path to bypass.

if it was designed in grids of one turn each, than what about all the people who can't be on every single day?

I think the grid system would work best if you could travel to so many places a turn until you get to tired. Someone with higher endurance could travel longer. But people would have to rest every now and then. Give us a use for beds. So people would have to put their characters to sleep after doing something after so long. So their characters would be regaining their endurance while they slept so the player doesn't have to worry about getting on all the time.

Yes this is sound really nice...would love to see it in action
Somehow you strayed and lost your way,
and now there'll be no time to play,
no time for joy,
no time for friends
- not even time to make amends.
You are too naïve if you do believe life is innocent laughter and fun.

Although, you should be able to sleep on the ground, but it doesn't replenish as quicky?

Yes that is a good idea. Like making camp. You could pitch a tent or roll out a blanket or something.

Depends where you are, you can do it in summer when it's warm, but try sleeping without shelter in winter, get's a little chilly ;)

Though it can be done if you are trained and know what you are doing. Maybe when weather is added people could either get ill from exposure or even die which would mean they would have to make warm clothing or build fires to keep themselves warm and alive. Plus, being in a shelter doesn't necessarily protect you from the elements. If it is cold you would still need to build a fire and wear warm clothing.

Maybe in places where it is cold a person can get frostbite and even freeze to death depending on how cold it is and what type of clothing they have. In places where it is hot people can sunburn, get dehydrated (water can be added to the game again), heat stroke etc... Clothes in a way make a culture and a lot of it depends on waht resources they have near them and what type of weather and element they live in.

Maybe give a chance to add sunglasses and suntan lotion.

"You see a man wearing sunglasses, holding a beach towel walk into Pok."

"a man wearing sunglasses says: "I see the beach, but where is the surf?"
