Yay! I can use Java script, at least a little
I am not sure if its fully compatible, is it? If it is, then we could make things like computers, can't we?
Like make a java game, then it'd be like a gameboy, or make a word processor, that automatically make formats for notes with out typing lots...
If we link to other pages IC, and that page could be edited to place a message, and other people can also link to it using a copy of the note, then thats a capital breach right?

Are you referring to javascript or the other link thing, because the link thing was just something I thought of, then thinks " Well, if this was allowed then why wasn't telephones..." then dumps it in the brains "trash bins" but the wind keeps blowing the bin over so it keeps coming back out so I ask people for them to confirm what I was thinking...
If you were referring to javascript.. You sure we ain't allowed? Why do they put it in there?

Javascript is not principally disallowed. If you use it to create chatrooms, or computers, or gameboys, we can disallow it, though. If you wish, we can also simply make it impossible to use. Takes me 2 minutes.
When a PD member tells you that something is not allowed, there's no need to ask something like 'Why can we do it then?'.
We generally have no interest to take everything away from players that we can. But we will not hesitate to take privileges away, if they get abused. That happened to HTML in events, and that happened recently to HTML in note titles. If you'd like to expand that to Javascript in notes, no problem.
If I get the impression that there is the tendency among some players to abuse privileges they have (like being able to use Javascript), I could take that privilege away.
But, as I said, we usually don't have a 'first strike' policy.
Since you asked gently, though, I will not assume that you had any malicious intentions. The paragraphs above were more general information about our policy concerning things that are disallowed, but which could theoretically be done.

Yes, that's exactly the reason. It's not only the neverending work that would be implied by maintaining a database of priviliges for each single player, but also the cost in terms of processor usage to check privileges for every single player and every single action they might take.
I know that you frequently complain about the fact that all players have to suffer for the deeds of only a few malicious minds, and I agree that in an ideal world only the offenders woud have to be the only ones to experience consequences. But in the real world, we're facing technical and personal limitations.
And yes, there are ways to allow some of the benefits of HTML tags without actually allowing HTML tags. We might eventually look at that, but like all things in Cantr, this takes time and is subject to the above mentioned limitations.
I hope that eases your frustration a little.

I have misread your original question. There's no need to be sorry for what you asked, but you would need to explain what you asked. Your question is unclear to me.
Who are 'they' and where is 'in there'?
