Subject: Characters that irritate you/yours -
Ok so this got me thinking. Would there be some way of comparing the player base before and after any large wars? (I know getting dates for it will be difficult and also what is a war and what isn't but you get the idea) I'd be most interested in the Lad war against Alenz Hills/DoUrden or should I say Alenz Hills/DoUrden's war against Lad. I regret that I was only just starting at this time and wasn't that into the game. The RP from what I saw was exceptional and I find it hard to believe that it did anything but draw players to the game. Much unlike todays - ride in kill people, drink tea (a nicely implemented mistake there to further unbalance combat), kill more people and then wait for their friends to come kill you - which I can easily see making people quit. So yeah, any stats?

War in Cantr has a pretty direct correlation to declines in the player base. Hardly surprising as to most war-mongers, war consists of no more than systematic genocide. Surprisingly, that's not fun for anyone else. Then all the good role-players quit and you end up with the desolate wastelands of the English islands.
The Blojt slaughter, for example, as over 6 years ago. And Blojt has never been quite the same.

I guess it would be possible to get character deaths by account termination vs characters deaths by violence and see if the latter peaks with a short delay after the other one.

Amount of fuels consumed per day (week/month/whatever).
Number of motorized/unmotorized vehicles on the road/in total.

Comparing deaths due to quitting and due to violence. Maybe averages should be counted to make more sense out of it...

Doesn't look like there's much correlation.

No, it doesn't look statisically significant in that form.
Reveal to me the mysteries
Can you tell me what it means?
Explain these motions and metaphors
Unlock these secrets in me
Describe the vision, the meaning is missing
Won't anybody listen?

OK, I can't even read that table...
Why is there one square way way up on its own though?

There is no rule that says I can't post as much I want. I asked my lawyer.

I meant any reason as in something being implemented or a significant in game event.

When players quit, is there an exit poll to find out their reason?

I was really against overhearing whispers getting implemented. Now I wish it would happen more often.

I also wish it would happen more often. Seriously, in a place the size of Klojt, it would be natural if almost everything got overheard by somebody. Where's the fun in discussing secrets outside when the chance of getting overheard is only a few per cent?
And the importance of an exit poll has been brought up but nobody has actually gotten around to implementing it.
