Why not just let you hunt again on the same hour you hunted before? Then you don't have to change anything.

The database only records the day an hour of violence, not the minute, so that's why it can't make a difference between something that goes on at minute 1 and another one that goes on at minute 35. It's most likely a very old structure.

I'm assuming changing how the game processes that would be difficult, at least much more difficult than changing 8 to 7.

Yeah I never got how the whole "Please wait to attack/hunt" worked.

I always thought 24 RL hours but it always seems to be about 26.

hmmm i have to agree that making the syste a bit smarter and allowing you to hit the same minute a day later would be better than logging in every 10 minutes past the time to see if you can hit and possibly get sidetracked and miss out by an hour or so lol the original suggestion gets my vote
