DOUBLE POST! (maybe)

What draws people to these "SUPA SUPA QUIRKY" kinds of characters with only one real key feature and no depth?

I sorta wonder who you have 'bumped into' and what you define as 'supa supa quirky'. In my opinion I like 'quirky' over normal as normal bores me, interacting and otherwise.

It has done it before, isn't that right Chase?

Ohhh no. Don't you drag me into your epic fail thread.

Claiming to play a character you don't is the lamest thing ever. Grow up Yugo.

Wait you actually believe that? Or is this just a continuing bad joke?

I don't give praise to PKers EVER but... I'm ALL for prejudice in Cantr! Raise the RP flag for anyone who spices things up with a little violence. Reb etc has 'cleared up' what the 'issue' was. However Yugo should learn to make things more clear as some of us take things rather literal, self included. The phrase "well then stay the hell away from one of my characters" actually implies that my one character should avoid ALL of yours but whatever.

I used to not PK with the character much, isn't that right chase?

However, that all changed when one minute things were going great then next thing I know 10 people were attempting to kill me, killed my buddy, and threatened my friends. Hearts darken when faced with such circumstances.

Just wanna say, epic trolling here from yugo...well played.

Now moving the topic back on track:

I Don't Know, I'd Rather Marginalize And Murder Characters Who Capitalize Every Letter Of Every Word Instead.

I have to agree reading, there does seem a whole lot of those that stutter and a lot of mute characters that poke out their words in the sands or write across from notes, but i enjoy seeing a quirky character as it reveals they do have a depth there awaiting just to be revealed with the right interactions, or they wouldn't have tried a quirky voice or muteyness to start.

It's kind of taken over from characters once upon a time having strong accents. Like your Laird Loki's and the old time MacGregors. Guarenteed a year or so back there would be someone in most towns saying Aye as yes, and calling your girls a lass. Maybe the game goes through fads. I think the more people see quirky things with characters the more people give it a try themselves to see how people interact with them.

There was an epidemic not so long ago of *Sighs sadlys, arms wrapped around themselves looking out to the waters with solitary tear streaming down their faces*But i'm quite happy to see that most characters have pulled their socks up and got out of being the Oh so depressing ones.. Because personally they all came across to me as being "Marvin", the depressing Android from hitch hikers guide to the galaxy. My characters wanted to poke them with a very big stick till they actually fell face forwards into the water and got it over with.
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent and Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you have decided to look beyond the imperfections.

Even longer back there was an epidemic of drama queens causing some kind of upset followed by them going swimming or atlest brooding in the water to get even more attention. That was usually only the start, it got worse from that. *Shudders*

I think a lot of my characters have stuttered at least once. Perhaps when crying and sad, or nervous, or very cold. But none of them all the time, although one does it quite frequently because she's kinda shy (about certain things, and when those subjects come up, it happens).

Dudel says, "I like Dory."

Everyone else says, "YOU WOULD!"
