Reduced Gathering Rate Proportional to Damage Taken?

Postby herkamer » Fri Dec 14, 2007 6:00 am

I have a character that has been gathering a day worth of corn for two, maybe three days now, and he is still at 67% completion on the project. He is awkward at gathering, but I never experienced anything THIS slow. Could this be because he has been injured nearly 75%?

Yes. If your character is injured, they will make less progress on projects.

Exactly, it will be much longer when you're injured. I don't know the exact formula though, but I guess it's proportional to the damage.

When you're injured, it's more effective to set up small 1 or 2 hour projects with many repeats, that way (assuming you're gathering healing food) you can slightly heal yourself each turn making your gathering speed improved for the next one.

Wow, that is a really good idea. Some people really know how to make every second in Cantr count.
