Does the skill number increase by the number of days a char works a project, or by each project of a type they complete?

In other words; if i wanted to increase my cooking skill, would it increase my skills faster if i set up a 20 day project, or if i worked several 2 hour projects instead?

I just wanted to state that after hunting everything they could find for 7 years, my charrie has gone from weaker than average to average in strength!

This is quite exciting, as I was among the doubters that strength would actually ever increase for a charrie. Let's see how long it takes to get to stronger than average...

Is there a numerical strength limit? Because i think i've hit it.
I've noticed a gradual increase in damage on animals every couple of years or so, except it's now been static for a while. He was much stronger than average when the statistic was introduced and has hunted virtually every day for his whole 30 years of living.

And yes, i've had another char go from average strength to stronger than average. That was a while back though, i just didn't think it was really important. :P

One of mine has been hunting for twenty years and has'nt moved up from Novice yet. I think fighting and hunting skill advancement is defininantly a slower process than other skills that involve continuous work.

It is... I believe somewhere it was said it'd take like 15 years of hitting a person every day to advance from awkward to expert... but I could be wrong on the number. I know it was an awfully long time though.

So, 15 people each day for one year?
(Is that even possible?)

I think that the amount it increases lessens with each attack you make. Hitting 15 people a day for a year wouldn't work because you'd be too tired to hit that many people every day. You'd probably die of the tiredness sickness. :P

I think the tiredness factor contradicts the one-hit-a-day rule. I can understand there being a tiredness limit if multiple hits were allowed in one day. Then it could prevent one from murdering someone before they've had a chance to login.
But with one hit a day, why still have the tiredness? I know you could still hit multiple people, but if your char is that way inclined then that makes any form of violent expression more long-winded than is necessary. You'd hit 3 people then be too tired to do anything else for fear of having a heart attack.

Once it hits 100% tiredness, it doesn't go any higher than that and it doesn't kill you or anything, you're just not doing any more damage (at least on people with shields). Also you could easily be dragged and you block less with your shield.
