Burger King

Postby Dee » Tue May 01, 2007 9:10 pm

There's a campaign project I'm doing on Burger King for college... I was wondering if you guys could help me a little by answering a few questions... Thanks in advance :)

What's the thing you like the most about Burger King? What makes it stand out from its competitors (McDonald's and Hardee's for example)?

What's the thing you like the least in Burger King?

Which specific burgers do you like the most?

Does the food fill your hunger?

Are the prices ok, or are they a bit expensive for you?

Thanks again. If you'd like to include any additional information, you're more than welcome to do that :)

You don't even want to get me started on the second question...

I managed to avoid big fast food chains quite well up to now. I've never been to a Burger King and to MacDonalds only twice in my life.
Sorry that I can't answer your questions, but no answer is kind of an answer, too, isn't it? :)

What's the thing you like the most about Burger King? Their frozen cokes.

What makes it stand out from its competitors (McDonald's and Hardee's for example)? I don't care for french fries - they have onion rings to get instead of the fries.

What's the thing you like the least in Burger King? Their burgers.

Which specific burgers do you like the most? I don't like any of them. I like their fish sandwich.

Does the food fill your hunger? Yep

Are the prices ok, or are they a bit expensive for you - about normal

Darn.. those burgers give you tummy aches...I think it is the meat. So I don't eat at them anymore.

I've never eaten at a Burger King, we don't have one here. But there's one opening soon... I couldn't come up with any advertising ideas without trying it, that's why I started this thread so that you guys would give me the information required. Thank you all :)

Keep them coming!

What's the thing you like the most about Burger King? What makes it stand out from its competitors (McDonald's and Hardee's for example)? They have funny little crowns for kids to wear? Honestly, I dont think there is one positive thing that could be said about them anymore that could seperate them from the others.

What's the thing you like the least in Burger King? That they exist

Which specific burgers do you like the most? Havent eaten there in so long I cant really remember. The only thing there that I did like was their jalapeno poppers but they stopped selling them, and thats when I stopped eating there.

Does the food fill your hunger? Dont remember lol

Are the prices ok, or are they a bit expensive for you? Havent been there since the popper thing...thats been around three maybe four or more years ago so couldnt really say.

Overall BK is one of the worst places to eat in my opinion.

Heh, well you guys are being useful :P

But no seriously I can't help you out here either Dee, Burger King simply does suck, and I mean even worse than all of the other fast food places, which are very almost as bad but not quite so sucky

I rarely eat at Burger King. If I go there it's because I have a craving for their onion rings and dipping sauce. I think it's the worst of the fast-food hamburger places. Carl's Jr. is the best then Jack in the Box. Actually a franchise in California called In and Out Burgers is the best. They use fresh (not frozen) food including the ground beef and real potatoes for the french fries and it isn't any more expensive than the other places. The only other thing I like about Burger King is their wacky commercials with the creepy King showing up like a stalker who broke into your house and crawled into your bed.

What I like least. Don't know. I haven't tried many things there.

Like all burger joints I think the prices are too high for what you get. A meal costs like $6 and I could get much better food for that amount someplace else.

I don't know why people are so mean. Be that I've only been to Burger King when in London, there are none on my region, but it was a positive experience. I think I only tried the Ocean Catch burger. It was ok. One time it was lukewarm which made me wander how long it had been standing on the shelf but at least it came fast. In Finland people usually have to wait for a burger to be made and it's brought to the table but the service was fast in Burger King. The person behind the counter was friendly.

I really thought it was the best burger place out there.. Wow.. I'm really surprised to receive such negative feedback. Oh, well... It's coming to Egypt soon, so maybe I'll experience what you guys are saying... But then again, all we have here (burger places) McDonald's, Hardee's, and I think that's about it!!!

I try to avoid places like McD's, BK, etc... But I wouldn't say BK is any worse than the others. I prefer their burgers to McD's, but like McD's chicken nuggets better.

I could be thinking of a different fast food place, but I think BK offers burgers during breakfast hours. That would be a plus, cause McD's is strict on their menu times (ie: my ex was pissed one time cause she sat in line one night for 15min and got to the order slot 2min after they changed to breakfast and they wouldn't sell her a burger or fries).

MacDonalds, dragged there by friends every so often, generally after watching a movie, hate it everytime. Burger King, dragged there by parents every so often generally after shopping, hate it every time. Although, I'll be frank, part of the reason I -do- hate them everytime is that I blame them for most of the world's problems, such as deforestation, obesity, the failing NHS, etc. etc. simply so that I don't have to blame it our society in general, which from an objective point of view is almost certainly the real problem, fast food chains like BK and McDs are simply symptoms of the greater problems such as our little obsessions with money - the whole reason fast food places exist, status - trying to be faster, better, smarter, and larger in just about everything, order - every tiny little bit of our lives inspected and filed away (one particular thing I heard the other day that really annoyed me was about gap years. We were being given a talk about them and being told that now days since in general students work from the ages of 5 to 18, having examinations all the time etc. more people now are taking a gap year for a break from it all, and then moving on to talk about what a good gap year is and a bad gap year is when talking to a university about it! Isn't that completely against the point? Isn't a gap year to escape from all the inspecting and prying and simply relax, apparently not, now we should do a little voluntery work because it looks good on a CV, and travel because its strenuous rather than relaxing in a foreign country. Where did the whole point go!?), even if the fast food places may lead to obesity and such. Anyway, odd little whinging rant over, carry on.

Yeah, Burger King sells burgers during breakfast, or at least the one on base does. If they didn't I'd be quite angry when I work the graveyard shift and want a burger in the morning.

I like BK's breakfast items too, and also their cheesy tots, just don't eat too many of them, they're greasy and WILL make you regret eating a 12 piece order of them. I stick to the small one, it's good enough.

They're not being mean, they're stating their opinion. They don't need to say it's great and all that when it's not. As far as being fast, slower is usually better. And no matter how good the service is, if the food isn't good, then it doesn't matter. And most fast food places like that in the US don't have stellar service, because let's face it, high school kids don't care about a temporary job they're just using to earn some money to pay car insurance or payments or for things their parents won't buy them during high school. I had a friend say once, "I don't really care how well I do my job at JC Penney's because I know it's only a temporary job; it's not what I'm going to do for the rest of my life."

I haven't been to BK in a long time. Last I remember, it was better than McD's (just about any burger is better than their overly processed tasting meat that is paper thin). One of the best places I've eaten is Johnny's Express, a regionally local chain. They're fast, and the burgers are like homemade burgers. Not a lot of grease, and made with quality meat.
