Dust
When things deteriorate they disappear. I would like to have them turned to dust. A tool that has crumbled should be crumbled to dust. Meat that has rotten should also have turned to dust; something like 10% of the original weight will remain as dust.
The new resource dust has no known use. It will just be lying in rooms where things have decayed. Inside dust will not decay, but when left on the ground outside it will be gone quickly (a decay rate of 90% for example).
If you like dusty places, leave lots of decayable goods lying around to decorate your rooms or vehicle with dust. If you like it clean you will have to collect the dust once every while and drop it outside.

It's not serious for a not serious suggestion.
It's my new way of saying "Shit suggestion, just clogs up the game more, booorrrinng!!! Doesn't improve, adds on to, geez heard this enough!"..

does too improve the game, you could walk into an old church and there would be alot of dust, you may think the place is haunted and will bring bad luck. otherwise as it is now, everything is clean, you cant tell if something was left unused for a long time, i like the idea, good roleplaying item, and would be great to have a use for the broom.

The broom could be a useful tool to remove dust.
Cleaning room/vehicle
Input per day of labour
* 1000 grams of dust
Maximum input
* 50000 grams of dust
Required tools
* broom
The difficulty is that this is a project with variable input and no output. Projects are not programmed this way; input is calculated from the variable output, while the output with this project is fixed.
The easiest way to remove dust is to drop it outside. Dust should decay quickly outside.

Hmm..
Just for effects.. you could possibly make it so the dust gets lifted a little when someone has walked in, and stays as 'lifted dust' for the next few years- this is just so you can see if anyone's been here since then.
But out of all the houses people currently own, I can tell you it's going to be a pain for every single one of them to have to now build a broom and sweep.
However, in rebuttal against my own argument, it does open up an opportunity for a new career, Cleaner.

Sand is also used for improving roads or making mud, not just for the glass stuff.
If someday there will be dust in Cantr, I won't see a diference between a large quantity of it for making mud, instead of the sand requirement.
But nevermind, it won't happen.

You mean, the suggestion will not be accepted? Or do you mean something else?
I meant MY dependant-to-yours-suggestion won't be accepted.
Turning dust -if ever implemented- into a useful material for improving roads would be a giant change for the game balance.
BTW, there would be a certain use for that dust apart from making the bloom valuable? Just 'cause we still have a lot of piles of unseful material among the sites, for adding another one.

That's true actually. Because where does all the other chunky parts go other than the ore?
