Somewhere on some or other dump of an island...
5 wolves
20 wild boars
36 bears
6 cheetahs
Aki.. somewhere or other? Never been there before. Anyway, another locked slot coming up in a day or so. Two if I'm lucky. Not that the character was worth saving anyway.
I really don't like this new slot lockup rule

What's the problem? My swedish char lives in a somewhat unexplored territory. He lives alone with the following animals, and have survived for about a year (IC) without any major wounds, and still alive.
2 hawks
4 cheetahs
2 lions
2 scarabs
3 elephants
12 zebras
4 coyotes
18 mammoths
And he only have a wooden sheild and a knife.

40 days rule is good. If player's char is traped and then (s)he will be bargian more for life if player knows that (s)he cannot made new char. And less suicidal chars. I am in PD, and belive me that this was a problem, especialy in Polish Zone.

Yeah, it's not the end of the world if you can't play 15 characters. I think I have 5 or 6. It just lets me get more into character development. It allows me to make them more complex and realistic.
But, then again, maybe others are better at multi-char development.
