Although the whole concept has me rubbing my hands together as if in anticipation of a present. Or like an evil mastermind. Mostly both.
Are buildings on boats up yet?

I waited nearly a week before bumping it again, I am excercising some degree of patience.

Buildings on boats are currently being developed. A requirement for some additional programming was identified yesterday and RD are working out building criteria and how they work . It won't be too long before they are available.

I'm sure that I've seen a boat with a storage room on it before, but when I try to see if it's possible I can't even access the 'buildings' list. This is really disappointing because there should be some way to keep just anyone from messign with the ship's controls.
Is it only certain types of boats that allow this, or what?

How soon is now?
now is pretty soon, and cabins on boats are going to happen in even a shorter time than when i wrote that ...
They are in the hands of RD now , who ae just finalising capacities and building requirements. Then they have to be tested
