That's all I can come to think of right now. All of the above would ofcourse be solved automagically if the site had a frame-based menu system.

Interface enhancements
I checked the list but couldn't find anything like this suggested before.
I suggest that from every page you should be able to klick a button taking you back to the main (Events?) page of the current character. This is to avoid having to use the browsers back button and/or the games back-button several times. This is especially useful when you have clicked your way down in, for example, activities and info on them.
Have the back button '<' in top of lists as well as in the bottom (scrolling is a nuicance, especially manufacture-tools)
Have the player/account (?) buttons available in the bottom of every page. (when quickly checking the status of my characters I'd like an easy way to get to the character list without having to hit the back button several times before the account menu is available)
Make sure that when you klick on a player name in the activity page (and other pages?), you're taken to the player interaction page of that player, not the People-page with a list of all players.
That's all I can come to think of right now. All of the above would ofcourse be solved automagically if the site had a frame-based menu system.

This is a standard situation where the implementation rule comes into effect.
For every problem you solve, you create 10 more.

So, never fix anything?
Seriously, I have been working professionelly and on my spare time in development of applications and websites for the past ten years. I'd say a thing like this doesn't necessarily introduce a lot of new bugs. Maybe that depends on how structured your development is.

Great idea, but does this mean Cantr will be perpetually tied to the whatever runs on an 8086 with a 2800 baud modem? Perhaps we could run a survey and see what the "lowest end of computers" are, and what they can therefore handle. I'd hate to see Cantr handicapped by the need to run on those orange-and-black monitors I remember from yesteryear.
