Operations for multiple keys

Postby Idriveayugo » Sat Oct 31, 2009 7:08 am

Maybe allow people to treat keys as they do notes as far as picking up, transferring, and dropping multiple keys.

Or just be able to group em on key chains so instead of having to drop 100 keys, a person only has to drop 1 keychain.

This would be quite useful, mainly for town leader, I did have to once pick up about 75 keys and it actually took me about 20 minutes maybe more it was really boring.

You don't have to wait for the page load. Just click the pick up buttons of all keys as fast as you can.
Pretty in pink.

I recall work was being done on key rings back when I was in ProgD three years ago or so. Wonder where all that went?

That's how I do it too...although, once, I got an error message at the top that said something to the effect of "You're too fast. ;-) "

This would be better than spamming the server with page requests though.

I love the idea of keychains/keyrings/key envelopes - it'd be nice if they could be labeled, too. My several brief experiences with keys thus far have been traumatizing.

I think its a good idea too...Key rings could be labeled and then keys added to it. The ring could have the tag of the building it's for, and when you click on it, you can see all the keys you have for the one building, copies, other rooms ect.
Anther ring could be tagged "vehicles" and have all the vehicle keys on it
