I have had characters in the Lad Empire, Stone Knights, and Blackrocks and have learned through game play experience that strength comes in numbers... whether it be working on a large project together, sharing food & resources, or warring tactics.
One person can work alone for years and years to build and collect all he or she wants, but one person alone is no match against a small group working together is push came to shove.
