You don't.

Shall we move the language discussion to here?

(I posted essentially the same post in the other thread, just in case the conversation doesn't move. If it does move, ignore the post here...)

What about slang and idioms? Even if it comes from within the language itself, phrases like "over the top" and "cool" are newer than many of the fixed foreign phrases that have entered the language over the years, yet I doubt it would be a CRB to say "cool."

It's impossible to avoid every influence from the outside world. So the one's we should try to avoid should be the one's that give people unfair advantages. I doubt you could hold a meaningful French conversation using the few phrases that have entered English, therefore using them should at least be tolerated.

I believe I had a character who was a member of them, or something similar when I originally played a few years ago.

Okay guys, we're getting a little off topic here. Maybe you could take that conversation to the place suggested above? Thanks.

Kiii's a rather well grouped... group. Again its one person in charge of a lot of people but that seems the easiest way to run a Cantr town.

I can't speak to whether or not grouping is more natural to Cantr than it is to the real world because I'm no historian but the mere fact that we have countries supports the idea that we know we must work together to thrive.

I have had characters in the Lad Empire, Stone Knights, and Blackrocks and have learned through game play experience that strength comes in numbers... whether it be working on a large project together, sharing food & resources, or warring tactics.

One person can work alone for years and years to build and collect all he or she wants, but one person alone is no match against a small group working together is push came to shove.
