I don't agree with that. It would make things even worse! Pages will load then for ages. We don't have enough active players on Polish islands to rid of burial problem in normal way.
There is translation of one post from Polish forum which is good argument for my idea on flyspray:

I've been brainstorming about this issue a lot over the weekend. It is really quite interesting if you think about it. Could this problem be dealt with as a Cantrian epidemic in game? I'm thinking of all the images I have of the bubonic plague sweeping Europe in the middle ages. I don't think it was very different from what is being described here in terms of the end result. And posting to the forum here is analagous to the people looking to God and screaming "Enough already!" if you sit and think about it.
This one really got me thinking. If those numbers are accurate, then it really will be mathematically impossible to match the influx of bodies. It really does sound like an epidemic, and honestly a quite realistic one, and an intriguing opportunity for roleplaying.
But first some more OOC speculation that I think may be important to consider. So it appears that a majority of the bodies are the result of players popping in to check out the game that quickly lose interest. What is the cause of this? Do they come to the game expecting something else, not knowing at all what to expect, or check it out and honestly lose interest.
So what can we as players do to fix this?
Perhaps we need to consider writing up a more accurate description of the game for advertising purposes. I had no expectation of what the game was going to look like or how slow it was going to be when I signed up. To me this seems to be the biggest step of the learning curve for new players. I realize that it says on the sign up page that conversations can take days and it is a slow paced game and all, but I was still rather surprised by how it looked and felt once I finally started playing. Maybe more people would stick around longer if they could get a feeling of what the game felt like before they started playing.
Maybe it should be motivation for the better roleplayers to step up their game and make the environment more interesting for new players. I'm not sure what end is hurting the most.
As far as dealing with the situation IC, maybe the crypt system should be encouraged to temporarily store bodies prior to burial. I know that they will continue to pile up, but we should try and operate under the assumption that the trend will change. After a while the mortality rate should decline, and then the stockpile of bodies can be dealt with.
The mass cremation idea also becomes more important, giving the ability to dispose of multiple bodies at the same time.

day by day, project by project
Consider this: every day brings to Cantr about 60-80 new polish people. But pace of growth polish language group is about 10-20 a day. What does it mean?

I think bodies should spread the plague.
I know I'll probably get slammed by all the non-English players, but I'm serious. (It doesn't have to be dangerous or anything, just a slight annoyance like the sneezing sickness.)
I think mass graves and cremation and the like would be good ideas too, but people only seem to want all these solutions because of page loading times and other OOC reasons.
Right now there's just no IC reason to bury corpses. In real life people were buried because the rotting corpses stunk, spread disease and attracted animals. And it must be unsettling watching the remains of a loved one decompose, to say the least. But if bodies instead just lay there in Snow White-like perfection for all eternity, would we really be so hasty to cover them with dirt?

Actually corpse decay would be another interesting thing to add. Eventually, when bodies aren't piling up so badly, then decaying bodies and food could foster disease to prompt dealing with them.
I still believe there is an IC solution to the issue, we just have to figure out what that might be.

People just get sick when look at pile of corpses.

Descriptions are already good. People seems to be so dump to read witht understanding or they still assume something different when registering.

But how much of bodies you can store in one building/cottage? I know that there is a limit.

You can discover Polish islands, make exodus there and help us bury them.

I may take you up on that offer. If you look around to find some quiet guy burying bodies it may very well be me trying to help out!
And I know it's frustrating and I'm sure that you have tried the things I posted. I was really slow to post anything because I was honestly giving it some thought trying to think of something. Yeah there's a building limit, I was thinking that maybe the towns could keep adding extensions to increase capacity. It might work if it's not a permanent crypt for bodies but more like a morgue. And if the problem does eventually die off like I predicted, the towns in the area will have these cool massive mazes of buildings which will add so much history to the area.
I know it's hard, but maybe it will help if everybody can look at the big picture of the society and story that is being built there.

In Sserperia on the Swedish region, there were over 60 corpses. I was thinking oh cool, this way my character can have something to pass time for ages (while wondering the reason of why does he even bother to keep living) but then two others started helping and it didn't take so long I'd thought it would. So impossible things happen every day.
I gotta say the people spawning dead is quite weird and can be annoying in large scale but the Dark Incarnation has been making science on that.
A lot would help if the initial characters would only be spawned while the player logs in the first time.

Well, maybe let every English speaking player to create one (or more) Polish character to help us bury bodies

Simple: iron = "zelazo", I want = "chce". But unfortunately we don't have so much iron to pay grave diggers in it.
TatteredShoeLace wrote:But wouldnt me making a Polish grave digger be an OOC solution to your IC problem?
I know, but it is also BIG OOC problem of this game, and no one from Staff willing to help us to alter burial system
