I bet you do have a spellcheck, Pie. Do you have Word? Look at the toolbar. Do you see a button that says ABC? Click it and follow it's every command.

at least my idea was good.

No spelling errors!

And West, its/it's is a grammatical issue, not spelling. So not all spell checks would pick that up.

Guys, will you stop giving Pie exactly what he wants already? You all know damn well he can spell - he'd still be in the first grade or at least in the "special" class at his junior high if he really was this stupid, and they don't just turn those kids loose on the internet. There's no way anyone who was legitimately this handicapped could survive in the real world on their own. He's just doing it to be an attention-whore and yet everyone keeps falling for it over and over again.

Actually i got 90s in math, science and socal studies, but i got a bad grade on spelling witch brought my overall grade down, so i couldn't get special atention on my math, or other. The school system SUCKS!

And why should you ignore me when i have such good ideas as this? even if it was alredy posted, if it was posted again, and acepted, maby people actually want this idea? Ever occured to you game designers?Ime so glad i have a brother that can spell.

Eh, i might be dyslyxic. I needed help with dyslyxic. I still don't know if its spelld right.

I'm not even convinced that all the "people" on the internet are of our species (if you know what I mean...and if you do, can you explain it to me, please?).

Wouldn't "it's" be appropriate, as "it" is a pronoun?
"Follow Nick's every command" would be correct, so wouldn't "Follow it's every command" be correct as well?

It wouldn't. Because "its" and "it's" is the special "its/it's" case that EVERY GRAMMAR TEACHER TELLS YOU ABOUT ON THE FIRST DAY YOU COVER APOSTROPHES.

Sorry for yelling. Peeve, much?

If it helps, think of all the other pronouns (him, you, they, us) and note that the possessive forms for them are not simply "add an apostrophe." Instead, you have "his, your, their, our." And "its."

Also, note: there is no such thing as its'. The apostrophe goes between the t and the s ONLY. s-apostrophe is only appropriate for possessive plurals that end in an "s", like "The cats' food dishes were empty." But not "the childrens' coats hung on a rack" because the plural "children" does not end in an "s". For situations where the ending "s" is not a plural, as in the case of a last name ("Jones"), there's some leeway, and you can say "keeping up with the Joneses" or "the Jones' garage" or "the Joneses' garage" if you really want to, but I think it's awkward.

Anyway, it's all a carryover from typesetting, as are many of the punctuation rules (technically, this is a punctuation issue, but that's a subset of grammar, so it's ok).
