I've tested it and its about the sameish. A large amount of damage was delt by someone who only does 20 with a sabre.

Okay, I'll probably stick with the primitive bow in places where I can get wood then. I just assume my character looks cooler with a bow, don't know why. :) Plus it's more realistic for hunting.
