glass vs window glass

I am working on an old car project it needs "glass" will window glass work? it better becuase theres already but loads of iron in the project..

It's the same problem as with the old lighthouse projects. Probably Programming Department will change it to window glass for you since hunting for old time glass would be nearly impossible.

Could have sworn I answered this... I'm going mad... Anyway...

1. You can find the glass. There is enough actual glass out there from the olden days to finish your car.
2. Contact the RD, and you can arrange a short period where your, er, glass producing machine will produce glass instead of window glass. Then they'll change it back, but you still have your project for glass.
3. Complain to programming. Repeatedly. Until they change the project to reject window glass
