Final tally of votes:
SWYMIR UNIT: 3 VOTES
Lt. Shmeashter: 1 VOTE
Over the SWYMIR unit's objections that doing so will lower the mission success probability to less than 70%, the crew determines to remove him from the chain of command. Although Dr. Schme shows up weilding a large and archaic hammer and takes a solid swing at the SWYMIR monitor, the rest of the crew exchange glances and then Lieutenant Nick pulls the wiring cable out of the SWYMIR unit's control panel. He stores the cable in a secured lock box and transfers it to the cargo hold, where it will be inaccessible until the end of the mission. Perhaps, when they return to Earth, a more skilled AI programmer can determine exactly how this important computer went bad.
STASIS BEGINNING. PLEASE RETURN TO STASIS CHAMBERS.
With Lieutenant Shmeashter and Dr. Smart remaining utterly silent during the Wake Cycles, the crew again prepares for another stasis cycle, anxious about their vulnerability during this time.
Vampires, coordinate and send me your victim.
Hacker, send me your investigation.
Lock Override, send me your protectee.

Moderator Note: The following script is generated solely by the Moderator using creative license and is not to be taken as what the characters think or would be doing in the situation.
He slept fitfully, small twinges of guilt or responsibility tugging at his consciousness. How was it that he was spared? How had he survived? In his stasis-sleep, he dreamed of hideous monsters, stalking him, clawing at him, ravenous and destructive, before they ripped his stasis chamber from its fittings in the floor and ejected him from the airlock, chamber and all.
He woke to pitch black, and for a moment of disorientation, he thought he really had been ejected in his stasis chamber. But no-- a tiny yellow light in the chamber indicated that they were still in stasis, so he must have simply had one of those rare, uncomfortable mid-stasis waking moments.
But then.... he saw it. It wasn't that it moved out of the blackness, so much as it was the blackness, bearing down on him with infinite, terrible patience.
The yellow light in the chamber cycled to green and his eyes flew open in terror as the blackness engulfed him, the clawing hands gripping him, the fangs--
ATTENTION. STARDATE 7.7.2505. WAKE CYCLE BEGIN. ALL CREW REPORT TO STATIONS. STASIS CYCLE WILL RE-COMMENCE IN FIVE DAYS, AT 13.7.2505.
Mr. Floyd is the first to call for help after stasis ends, screaming and sobbing into the ship's Comm system-- "He's dead! He's dead! Oh, God-- Nixit's dead!"

Listening to the screams she shouts
OMG!! How could this be. He was once spared now he's gone. This is getting ridiculous....
sighs
Master Mikki, I hope you are able to help this time, because now I am at a lost for who the killer could be...
