Help me understand
I can usually figure out the shorthand used these days on the computer and over cell phone text messaging, like BTW, LOL, etc....but what is the meaning of Meh? I've seen it on several posts and for the life of me cannot figure it out. There's another which I can't think of now, but will later.

Yes, we use 'meh'. Mostly as an expression of ambivalence.
It first popped up as an Internet meme in the late 80s or early 90s, and has gained in popularity partly because it's amazing and partly because it's been used somewhat often on the Simpsons.
