Latest conspiracy theory:

The reason that all the councillors were outside of Krif when everyone was slaughtered was because it is all a plot by them to destroy Krif completely

It could also be a plot to blame it on Seatown Forest. Very few people in Krif like Seatown Forest (even though it was the Forest that saved their ass anumber of times) and just need an excuse to go to war with them and wipe them out. The problem for Krif though is that the Mac Gregors were from Seatown Forest and were Seatown Warriors during the Smoke Jaguar War, Drojf has a strong allegiance with the Forest, most of the communities in Djorf Hills is supported and supplied by the Forest as well as many of the founders were once residents of the Forest, the Rangers are ran by the Mac Gregors and was the original idea of the Forest's leader Maily Yumm.

It seems there are more than one group that hates Seatown Forest too. That region is very interesting.

Also, the forest doesn't "supply" any person or group besides the Rangers. It'll be taken that way, but it's not how it is.

What Rory? Didn't the Forest trade with at least one of the leaders in Djorf Hills? The one that claimed his people were attacked which started the whole Forest situation with the Krif Eagles; can't remember what his name was. Plus, did the Forest just give all of those resources away to those people from Drojf or did the Forest get something out of it?

I believe it was Maily that said the Rangers were her idea that she pitched to the leaders of the region and they all agreed to start such an organization to keep the peace. Perhaps, my character and I heard/read what Maily said wrong.

The forest has been trading aggressively to bolster the economy of the region as a whole. While there have been LOTS of requests for non-economic associations, they've all been denied to make sure that Maily doesn't get tempted to overstep her bounds. This will be especially improtant with the current weakness of one of the towns in the union.
Maily talks about the Rangers alot. She says "we" created them, etc., meaning all of the major leaders in the area. She does assert her authority over them though. They are subordinate to the leaders in the union, so that they don't get exited and start doing their own thing over time.

Actually, she is going to let one group in, but only if it can be done without interfering with the laws and traditions of the forest, and if it is setup so that she doesn't have the opportunity to directly influence a particular town in the area.

We really shouldn't talk or even speculate about the people behind the Krif/Seatown Forest conspiracy.
Even if most people here wouldn't want to cheat by using OOC knowledge such information tends to effect people subconsiously anyway...

Alright, I may have a nasty cough and you may be rather pissed off about Sester killing your character which I would like to point out it was my character not my decision as a player to do so and it was acutally a mistake. So you can put that there needle away.
