No, I think a person like Pie could only have come from the USA.

Well actually, in my city we had our fireworks on the 2nd of July. See, Canada Day is the 1st of July, but it was raining in Halifax so we had to postpone it.

And my ancestors alive in 1812 would have been in Newfoundland, I think.

Man, Canada Day irritates me. You guys were just jealous because we got fireworks and you made up some lame excuse so you could have some too. Stop copying our holidays! I mean it! :P

Hey, you didn't start with the fireworks till 1958. That says rip off to me - before that they'd just put Christmas lights on a moose and strap it to a cannonball, but I guess that wasn't entertaining enough. (History is my best subject, you know...)

Like most Americans... you must be keen on geography too.

July 1st, 1867, happens to be the date that Canada became it's own country.

I know what year it was - I'm not saying you guys copied the whole independence thing from us, (though I'm not saying you didn't..) just the fireworks. Which didn't become the norm until 1958 - the year the Americans invented the time machine which the Canadians copied the blueprints for and sent the Secretary of State back to the T'ang dynasty to steal Roman candles and sparklers. Then he took an extension cord to 1867 so they could plug in the moose's Christmas lights.

Also, I might be drunk. It's a distinct possibility.

AND THE DATE I RIPPED YOUR ANCESTOR'S JUGULAR OPEN WITH MY TEETH.

PS: I am not drunk, and I still own Pie at spelling. God Bless America. And Canada. And...Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Western Hemisphere. Antarctica, nobody loves you.

Penguins love Antarctica. But they look funny and they use Linux, so who cares?

And no one's thought to ask how the ancient Chinese got ahold of roman candles? I'm disappointed. (Hint: it involved stealing candles from the Romans.)

EDIT: itallics do not like me.

Okay dude, if you're getting drunk to reading the forum, you're an alcoholic.

No, I'm getting drunk to light pretty explosives with short fuses in my uncle's backyard. Fun!

Also, I'm dudette. I think I need to add some arbitrary vowel to the end of my name so people will stop getting confused.

I didn't get drunk to read the forum. I am reading the forum while probably not drunk. Distinct difference.

Lumin, you and me are the coolest people ever. Everyone else is not cool. Well, Jerry's okay.
