No, a donut shape. Unfold it and you'll notice that it would be something like having the map tile.

"I am not turning my boat again, I am heading straight to the edge and sailing over."

Unless "a la" Truman show your character bumps against a big green wall, finds a hatch and opens it...

...imagine your shock as the character climbs out of your CD-ROM Drive!

I imagine his attitude will something along the lines of: "You bastard! 12 years of eating nothing but potatoes!"

Something a tad off topic, and I's too lazy to put it in suggestions, please mind me and my phobia of starting new topics, rather bending the other topics so that none sense can be made of it:

What about just like Sealed Envelopes, we would know who placed the Uneditable on a Letter.

round flat or cubed???

naw.. Cantr is a bunch of random meteors with water and stuff floating in the same general area of space. Some of the continents are on the same meteor... and they will find eachother but otherwise...

yes, cantr is a cluster of meteors that will never actually touch. hehehehe

Here I am. BITE ME. or not, in fact, never mind, dont want some wacko taking me up on the offer. Only non wacko's may apply for bite allowance.. no garentee that you will be granted said allowance, but you can try.

Nope. All on the same meteor.

And kroner was right. The world is (effectively) a torus. Or as KeVes said, double-round, as in the far eastern edge and far western edge abut, and so do the far northern/far southern.

Eep, mystical knowledge unveiled!

What happens if you sail into a corner?

Is the quality of Cantr so bad that you already assume bugs?? :)

I wasn't assuming a bug. I really wanted to know. If the Cantr map is like a square when you look at it (which is what I picture from wests description) Then it has four corners. If my car sails directly into one of them (say the NW corner, will she come out on the SE corner or just get stuck? I think it's a reasonable possibility and a reasonable question.

Or maybe it's shaped like a cross with equal sized arms. I don't know what a torus is. I couldn't do what you descibe with a piece of paper but these are computer rules so.... Damn you west!

Yeh, but it's impossible to sail directly into a corner. Isn't it? :| ...I mean, you'll go one side or the other.

...but still, wouldn't surprise me if the map was in a strange shape. Anyone noticed that the lake in the Quillanoi/Flonder area is a phalic lake? Shows these guys have a sense of humour.
