Which one of these governments would you like to see fall first?

1. Imperial Republic of Karnon

2. Tribe BlackRock

3. The Mac Gregor Clan

These are the 'governments' that I see growing and would like to see which one people hate the most.

Not sure I really approve of this sort of poll, because it tends to bring OOC hatred of specific groups out and intensifies it.

Now, I have characters that are biased one way or the other towards all these groups, but as a player I *try* to remain neutral.

You don't see ME posting stuff like, "Boy, I sure wish someone would slaughter all of the Mac Gregors" like some people do, OOC here on the forums.

Although I have a CHARACTER who wouldn't mind seeing Tribe Blackrock disappear off of the face of the planet, that doesn't mean as a character I can't appreciate how far they've come and what they've done.

People should try to be a bit more objective. Just my opinion.

I agree. I happen to have three characters on that island. One is definitely not a fan of the TBR. :) However.... the other two are at least neutral on the issue, one having had absolutely no direct contact with the tribe except through distant trades and the other having had generally positive experiences.

I have one in TBR, one in the Karnon Army, one in Kirrinn, and one originaly from Kwor.... It's ridiculous really.

Now that would be difficult. I only have one character on that island who is that closely involved with either group. I think it would be very difficult to maintain a character in both the TBR and the Karnon Army. I suspect that a lot of what went down during that previous "war" was strongly affected by players who had characters in both groups and therefore had strategic information regarding both groups. I believe some players have difficulty not breeching if they tend to prefer one group over the other.

Of course, it could be that I'm just cynical.

My characters would probably want Tribe Blackrock to fall first. I don't really care though, it makes it interesting.

Until very recently, I hadn't encountered ANY of those governments, so this poll is heavily biased. You left out the Blojt Commonwealth (waits 4 seconds until the old geezers flock over here to bemoan the decay of the Good Old Days of Blojt) and the Stone Knights, and a LOT of other government entities that really could use a bleaching....

Well the reason I only have these three is because I can see them actually taking over their continent, don't get me wrong I've been in some of those towns with the stone knights and LOT, They have a pretty good rule over their land.

Sorry but.... Mac Gregors wouldnt get past Pok. And if they did they are totally screwed in running into Olipfirovash Forest Clan and then Blojts Commonwealth (if it was back in the old days of blojt anyway.)

My characters would probably want Tribe Blackrock to fall first. I don't really care though, it makes it interesting.

I must say if TBR was not there, Karnon Imperial would jump all over the hematite and then begin a long ruthless campaign to make the Island theirs, they already sit on coal. If TBR fell the island is F****d.

The MacGregors.

Or more specifically Gregor. I have never forgiven him for that appalling "now for wrath, now for ruin" speech. *shudders*

And I really don't think they are as powerful as everyone believes... at least they aren't in my experience... (although that is limited, as I hate the KDS region and WILL NOT be forced to RP in a region I hate so much. It's bad for everyone)

A lot of people (mostly pro-chaos people) say they hate that region. Well...running away because it cramps your OOC preferences isn't the solution. If your characters tend to be natural agents of anarchy or whatever...wouldn't they want to break up the place? At least some of them?

Myself, I don't really see what makes it much different from anywhere else, but...

No, I hate everything about it. The characters, the way they're played... I just don't enjoy RPing there. It depresses me, and makes me wonder why I bother playing Cantr.

So I don't play there. My characters may pass through there, I wouldn't stop them for OOC reason, but I detest the entire region and I can't make myself face it unless I have to.

It really is the worst place in Cantr. Hands down...
