Iron framed spectacles take no iron

The title is very self explanatory, that is to say that iron framed spectacles take no iron, and are made of only two lenses that are somehow held together. I am fairly sure that this is a mistake because the name of the clothing piece explicitly refers to spectacles that require iron to make.
