Thanks for pointing out that I'm a dumbass

Well, that doesn't just point out that your a dumbass. Just made a wrong assumption. I do it all the time. It's not like I really made it obvious.

:D

EDIT: To change player to char. I get so confused!

I'm afraid that your unfounded assumption is wrong yet again. Sorry, but you've no way of knowing how many characters I have. Try again!

And I is trying to narrow views? Just the opposite. Organized religion would be troublesome and inconvinient to most of my characters, just as in real life. And yet, I still try.

I have met at least two of your characters I think, Schme. One enthousiatic (and unoriginally named  ) musician in a coastal english town, and of course, your character in my favorite french town.

Bump, from the key topic I made. We need to be able to name keys

Ah yes, as this thread is not suggesting quite the same idea I had better make one thing clear, I am not suggesting dynamic naming of keys as this means that you do not know where keys from other people go and they are therefore quite worthless, like now, I instead suggest a more permenant marking, such as a slip of paper, a few grams of steel, or an engraving. The first two could of course be removed if you are about to die and do not want your killers to have an easy time to use your keys, but the third could not be

I prefer dynamic naming for keys, given that a key would appear as the key number for everyone that hadn't labeled the key.

If locations which have locks; vehicles and buildings, have dynamic names - so should keys.

The easiest solution is to keep the lock and key serial numbers, but add an extra 'dynamic name' field to keys - if easily programmable...

Neither - Moved to implemented

This suggestion was implemented ages ago - please read what the thread is about - it's not about dynamic naming of key which has been suggested before in other threads

EDIT But after rereading the first post this has been moved back to suggestions - my mistake
