I feel your pain Colonel. I am stuck out in another part of the world where every radio station plays country music, many of the people own horses, and people walk around in cowboy boots, big hats, and belts with buckles as large as dinner plates. And I think I will submit a few more groups for you to check out.

Galactic (good funk sound)
Victor Wooten (great bass lines and solos)

I just heard one song from Galactic and it was very nice. I couldn't stop it, so that is a good sign. Very nice.
Thank you. It is slower then what I am used to but very nice.

And Victor Wooten was very nice too. It makes me want to dig out my George Clinton collection. :D

Go Cookie, go Cookie, it's your birthday.

Very nice picks. There are a few that are not really my style but very good ones though.

Oh and I do like Weird Al, he is awesome.

Yay!

And if you want funk... you got to go with Make it Funky by James Brown.
That was our theme song in 5th grade.

Soldiers of Allah is a band, well , a bunch of muslim guys who sing islamic songs, or criticise wars or terrorism acts and stuff...

Not your style, guys.

Ok...

*looks for his neon lasoo and rounds everyone up*

Did people not hear the colonel? Ignore the chicken and listen to the words...

techno...

yes - big fish... little fish...
CARDBOARD BOX

Anyways - mr monster metnioned new order - I'd have to say that they are brilliant - blue monday is ultimate gay cheese - and must be worshipped... in a similar vein - look for some of the kylie minogue remixes - especially the remixes of the 'fever' album - some of them are great - just the thing for uplifting disco/electronica happy poppy listening

and, if you don;t mind listening to unrecognisable, but still pretty listenable techno/trance/DnB/old school techno styles/eurodance/Hi-NRG - go to Digitally Imported - they stream the lot, and more, non-stop...
Whoever you vote for.
