I'm looking out for you...

In the US this means "I'll take care of you or I'm watching over you" but you seem to be using it as "I'm keeping a close eye on you because I don't trust you" or sommat like that. Is that right hf?

It works both ways here in the States, from my own observations.

Last year I spent 6 weeks there studying Chinese. Very nice place, though very different from all other places I've been.

I was in no way making a dig at the Chinese. China's been on my "list of places I'd really like to go when I have the time and money" for a long while now...

I just read that the Chinese government is employing agents to spread pro-chinese prpaganda, or to steer BBS/forum political conversations about China into away from the subject...
