*runs out of his room, the bewildered man has his uniform shirt still mostly unbuttoned, his hair is wild, and he has not shaved in over a week*
Huh? What? Is there something wrong here? *waits a little* Oh! I know! *pulls out a tool from one of his pocket* What needs to be fixed?

Just because you're older, smarter, stronger, more talented... doesn't mean you're BETTER.

Not being able to hold herself at attention anymore she walks away from the Captain then stands at ease. She pants now from being out of breath then finally lets out what she had to say
That's what I have been trying to tell everyone! It was completely horrible! The Doctor was just lying there...the color of him not normal at all! It was indeed very frighting. I know alot are scared right now and will have alot of different feelings and emotions. Remember my office is always open.
She sits trying to look strong for the rest of the crew

Dr. Meisora walks through the bridge door just as Sparkle finishes her exasperated warning.
Well... now I feel bad for being so late. I had figured somebody hit the alarm by accident again. Not that I'll name any names. He glances over in Dr. Slayer's direction.
So, Captain, I hope you intend to do something about all this. Dr. McCoy was not only a colleague of mine, he's been a dear friend since University.

I believe Dr. Schme is refering to the security files on the ship's log. But I'm afraid it won't be of any help. I'd hate to bore you with the details so I'll keep the explanation short: According to Astrophysics, during a hyperspace jump as the ship enters into metadimensional space, the correspondance field of electronic software becomes scrambled from it's point of origin. From what I've heard from engineering, it can take weeks for the ship's computers to reset. If you were to look at the files of McCoy's murder, you would only see a scrambled pixilated screen.
If someone were knowledgeable enough, they might be able to manually reset the security files. But I'm afraid I don't know nearly enough about this ship's computer interface to even suggest how to do such a thing.

OBSERVATION
*It could not have been a colonist as their Stasis Chambers are on another deck of the ship. It would be impossible for one of the colonists to have bypassed the sealed locks and entered the Senior Crew Stasis Area.
