Archer's thumb ring: Now this is something that I think might be very helpful in the game because of the use of bows in the game. It might be made to help the user be better with the bow. (Now I am not sure how hard this would be to program so it is just an idea.) Now these rings can be made out of many different things like; horn, ivory, bronze, silver, gold or even stone.
Aspis: This is a shield which was made out of hide. I am still looking into this one so I do not know to much about it right now. But I think it would be of some use in Cantr and a little easier to make for some of us. I am just guessing so far but some hide and a few small bones would probably be the items used to make it. From what I have read they had metal nails that held it together so I am not sure if that would be something that we would want to do for the game.
Aclys: A small javelin thrown with the aid of a strap or Amentum Or a stout mace equipped with a number of spikes which was attached to the arm of the person.
Amentum: A thong attached to the shaft of a javelin to increase the propulsion of the throw.
Bagh-nakh: An Indian weapon, not unlike the European Knuckle-duster. It's name means "Tiger's Claws" cause it had four or five steel claws riveted to a flat bar fitted with two rings to slip over the aggressor's fingers. It was never regarded as a prestigious weapon and was used mostly by thieves and murderers. (I like that part. Hee hee.)
This is all I have so far but I will add more when I look more into it. Thank you.
