Cantr Movie

Postby Antichrist_Online » Fri Jun 03, 2005 6:46 pm

What major events would merit a cantrian movie to be made? The Alexian wars? The rise of the Mac Gregors?

Who would play the main characters? Who would you have play your characters?

I wouldn't focus on one major event, it would be like the backdrop. Then you have your main characters caught up in it all.

I mean which events would be good in the movie if a movie of the complete history of cantr was made, or at least the interesting bits.

Count Nine Reeds would be good played by Kenneth Branagh.

Valantine Dangle should be played by Richard Gere.

Billy Connely would be good for Gregor Mc Gregor

Rowan Atkinson for Amon Bigsby

Bill Baily for Jo Jo (from seatown forest)

Iza Dozzet(sp?) would be good if played by Dawn French

Judy Dench for Alicia Reed of seatown forrest?

Those are the only ones I can think of so far.

Gregor McGregor doesn't deserve to be in the film.

Unless he dies a horrible death. Then I wouldn't mind... :D

Crag Rock - Sean Connery
Johnny the Giant - Gene Hackman (think 'The Quick and the Dead')
Archprelate Howard Lopan - Anthony Hopkins
1223-4: You kill a elephant using a longbow.

I frankly have a hard time understanding OOC biases against certain groups or people in game. I know for sure it influences new/young forumgoers in their mentality when they play. This was true for Lad, for instance.

Well maybe it's a good thing not to encourage unoriginality.

I dislike the unorginality of the MacGregors. The name, the flag... all of it points to a rubbish idea.

But the reason I can't stand Gregor McGregor is the direct result of his 'Now for wrath, now for ruin' speech after his wife's death... a speech taking directly for the LOTR films.

It's the same reason I had an initial dislike for TBR and Firecam. I can't stand organisations which have names like that... although I actually quite like TBR since Nicki took over. Don't know about Firecam...

Now as for Lad... I loved Lad. Or at least I loved the old Lad, now it is decadent, boring and just irritating. Oh for the good old days of oppression and militarism... :D

I don't know much about major events.

Certainly everything that happened in Quillanoi, and definitly the Ah'bhol incident and the whole Bljolt thing.

But also, would have to be alot of the stuff about normal life. Catching and slaughtering note thieves, the suicidal newborns, all the people in prison.

But then again, even more mundane things. Farming food, building stuff, making tools, clothes, hunting, walking, pirate attacks, and all that stuff.

I think I'm the only one who could play me, though. No one else is handsome enough. But if it had to be someone else, probably LL Cool J or Wesley Snipes.

And Robert Diggs would definitly have to play lord Wu-Tang!

Hahahahaha! Get it? Robert Diggs? Lord Wu-Tang?......................

Damn you, children, damn you.

I bet he thought he'd get away with that.

Ok, I'll take the low hanging fruit. I recommend we cast Mike Myers as.....
*brings pinky to mouth*
Austin Powers.

How about Renne Zellweger playing Diane Ritzinger as she subtly gains power in the Djorf areas.
