Cantr Music

Postby Cookie » Fri Jun 03, 2005 9:46 am

What music would you say portrays Cantr as you see it. For example if it was made into a film or something waht music would you put to it?

I'd say Ian Brown - Fear would have to be in there.

..and somethink by Enio Moriccone.

Cantr really, really, really, really gives me no associations with any kind of music at all. Really, it doesn't.

I have never associated music with Cantr.....but..... IF Cantr were made into a movie...Each town, each island would definitely need a different music..there would be no way to choose one type or one style of music..

I'd say if there was a cantr film about everything, it should have the continuous ochestral music like starwars.

I have to say I'm much the same as Doodle Jack. It's never really made me think of any music.

Although I agree, mostly instrumental, had I too choose for a movie.

Mostly classic orchestral, yes. But perhaps a little bit of guitar, drums, banjo, flute, fiddle, and all that. And maybe some getaway music for when people ran off with stuff.

I think I'd splice in some MC Hammer, too. A bit of oldschool hip hop never hurt anyone.

Well Moku would have to have Danse Macarbre.
Quillianoi makes me think of Anarchy in the UK by the sex pistols, probably because my Quill char is turning punkish.
Djorf hills would proabably have some easy listening classical.
Seatown forest, the imperial march from startwars.
Sjoftich, Should I stay or Should I go by the Clash.
Olip Forest, Friends will be friends by Queen. (this is part sarcasm on my part)

Thats it for the moment.

Well, that fiddle music of the Hobbit village from LOTR might be nice for some towns.

The song in Star Wars in the bar when Obi Wan meets Han Solo and Chewbacca would fit in Quillanoi Forest.

A certain forest I know of: woodwinds.

As for the MacGregors: Bagpipes and Celtic music, obviously.

I've always thought of K-island as having an Old West feel to it. So you'd have to have western music (not so much country, though)
