Meh. Never liked Seatown or the whole KDS region. I'm not really up with the history of the area... Although I think I know who it might be now...

One of the funnest places in Cantr, I believe. If I lost my characters (x2) in that area, I would've lost my interest in Cantr altogether.

Super job, guys! I am very impressed! I bet you'll have lots more articles for the next issue. Even from me. *smiles sheepishly, nodding to RKL's statement* My apologies as well, Sarah.

I used to be the main express
All steam and whistles heading west
Picking up my pain from door to door
Riding on the storyline
Furnace burning overtime
But this train don't stop,
This train don't stop,
This train don't stop there anymore

Really well done. :D
But... not so good that I need to read it every time I log out of Cantr.
Can this be changed?

Correction time!

Anthony 'Lesser' Roberts wrote:That's what I thought. Regardless, what does this article have to do with anything? Thursday's, McDonald's offers two cheeseburgers for $3.99! At least, in Canada.

Two cheeseburgers costs 1.79 on Thursdays. For 3.99 you get fries and a drink.

J.F. wrote:when I first joined, I think it was in March of 2004, if I'm not mistaken, at that point, there was no question that I would become the official French translator for Cantr

There already WAS a translator. Me. AFTER you joined and I had read you post in the French forum enough for me to deem you active, I opted to try and get you to take the position so I could join other parts of staff.... (which didn't happen for a while...)

J.F. wrote:The level of French when I first joined Cantr was quite poor. And I soon realized that I could make a very important contribution in improving it.

Dude, that's cold. Let's not blame the old translator! :D
The game was over 90% translated when I left it, according to the stats.
But back then, Judith and other programmers had not added NEARLY as many things into Cantr to improve the grammar in alternate languages. I did the best that could have been done under those circumstances. :P

I'm curious as to why you labeled Amon as a political enemy, when he was in your party, and never ran against you in elections?
Not to mention, Russell was his role model.

edit: added comment below

I got a mention! Rock on!

Oh, and Sven did run against Jonathan. And he won.
And Tencious was his role model. And still is, after all these years.

Yes we know, we know. The only living character to have beaten Russell in an election.

edit: And the role model, Grax, would be the first person to beat Russell in an election.

Allow me to clarify. "At least, in Chatham, where I live."

All McDonald's have different prices, I swear it. The McDonald's near my work charges $3.99 for a McDeal. But the McDonald's in WalMart charges $2.99 for the McDeal. And the McDonald's downtown charges $4.99 for the McDeal. THEY CAN'T MAKE UP THEIR MIND. And I'm not kidding or bullshitting, either. I swear they have different prices. Either that, or they change their price everytime I decide to eat out at a different McDonald's... then change it back when I go to work the next day... probably NOT.

I can get the Number 9 combo (Double Big Mac) for exactly $7.23 at the McDonald's by my work. However, downtown, it's $8.13 with tax. Crazy differences. At WalMart, I dunno, I never got it there...

Doesn't matter, really.

My article is correct, FROM MYPERSPECTIVE. So there.

That is probably because each McDonalds is owned by a different person. Yes, each McDonalds is owned by the Corporation but each of them is owned and managed by a different owner and they set the prices. Plus it depends on where each McDonalds is. One that is in a city will charge higher prices because of higher taxes most likely while one in a small town will charge less. And the one in Wal-Mart charges less because they probably have a good lease deal which would be cheaper than owning their own property.

How much is that in real money?
