Why not leave both, makes 9/10 folks happy, it is just some numbers on the side. They'll grow on you. I like knowing the exact amount and the bars, so I'm happy to see them both.

How can blind people see the percentages any better than the bars? :?

Am I missing something, Jur? Are you playing around? :?

I am not sure but he might mean colourblind: red and green are way too similar for them (though complement colours): light text on dark background or the other way around is much more visible for them...

Might be an explanation - if not - Jur: correct me!

They apparently have some really nifty software that can read out texts to them (and thus access any text internet page)... but this has some problems reading a bar out.

The W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
recommend that textual alternatives to any audio or visual information are made available if possible, also that one should not rely on colour alone to display information.

There are applications which translate web pages to audio, these work better when presented with textual data instead of graphical data

Also some users may prefer text-only renditions of web pages

Do we have blind players?

I reckon the forum would be a nightmare to hear aloud, if so.
