I belong to a yahoo group: still_flying @ yahoogroups.com. They keep me updated on the events.

I think the person who posted it got it from livejournal. I can't remember.

The official FF fan site, it has spoliers on there and has a few links that let you know about the screening times, tickets and what not.

Actually that is the Official Serenity Fan Site. There was never an official Firefly Fan Site. The closest thing is http://forums.prospero.com/foxfirefly

But the point was that I didn't see anything on any of the sites about a third round of screening except that link to a livejournal. I wonder where this person got that information from?

I just realized that I did save the email. It says it was posted at Buffistas.com which has a Firefly forum area.

Could be a hoax or misinformation but I haven't seen anything to discredit it yet and those rabid fans are usually all over every little bit of info.

I got this email yesterday:

Word on the streets is that MONDAY, June 6th, Tickets will go on sale
for a third screening. Fandango has already taken pre-orders for a
third screening I believe in Austin or Houston. (Not sure, just know
to be ready).

Yes, I have been reading these same rumors on the website. Just a word of caution, people have called these theatres where these tickets are being sold. The theatre doesn't know if it is Serenity or not but it works in that it is at 10:00 on a Thursday which is when the other screenings were held.

Bad time for those to go on sale wouldnt be able to get any I dont think. Two birthdays on June 9th to try and get something for instead. :lol:
