Project Description

Postby Nick » Tue May 24, 2005 9:43 am

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to see how big a project is by looking at the description?
It's quite annoying to start unfinished projects without knowing how long they are going to be.
I think this suggestion really fits the 'more benefit than effort' criteria. But I'll admit, this is not my suggestion.
Someone came on the IRC and suggested it, but he disliked the forum so I posted it here.
Personally, I really like this suggestion. The first good one in a while. Comments?

I'm handling the forum, thanks Image

My suggestion is to change the project title or adding in the project description how much is being collected / farmed / whatever.
From "Collecting blueberries" to "Collecting 200g of blueberries" or "Collecting blueberries - 200g".

Well okay, I put my own little spin on it. I'd rather see it in the project description, so it at least takes a little bit of effort to examine.
I also think that a lot would have to be changed in order to put it in the title rather than in the description.
But hey, either way is good.

Actually, I think spending one round on the project to find out is a reasonable "cost".

With skills and tiredness and only-Jos-knows what other factors are included, that's nearly impossible nowadays.
And if YOU'RE the one gathering the materials, you really should know how much you're going for.
