I wouldn't...but with their deaths would probably mark the end of my involvement in Cantr.

Definitely would like to go out with a bang, anyways, especially since life gets a wee bit dull when they're near 50.

...And I wouldn't expect any less of their lieutenants, no matter their age.

It's funny how the chars lives do seem to become more sedate as they age even though they aren't really experiencing any age-related physical problems. And I don't think it's deliberate rp in most cases.

The younger chars are definatly wilder though. I guess it has to do with the time-consuming responsibilities the older chars tend to aquire.

As Cantr's general population ages, this could be having an influence on the relative lack of evil behavior. I know the youngsters tend to have plans to conquer the world but they rarely follow through. :D :D

I think you have to give some credit to the players for subliminally/subconciously playing older characters more reserved and 'sedate'. It is part of character development, I believe.

As for the younger characters, you can attribute their lively and vibrant behavior to a 'careless' attitude not uncommon amongst youth in the real world- but in this case, because their lives are (let's face it) worth less (in most cases) as they're not yet developed. Thus, why they take bigger leaps and risks. That's how I see it anyways.

I'm working on the evil empire, but it takes time, and I'm limited in how much I play these days by exams

If your bored, just try and overthrow the goverment.

If your not succesfull, at least you'll get attention.

Or go off into the wilderness and start your own Banana Republic. Or, I suppose, a sand republic. Or something.

I too am working on evil empire, but the process is slow. You can't just say "Okay we are evil now lets go kill those guys over there." You have to get people to like you and to feel loyal to you and then you have to make something up that will convice them you are good.

Nitefyre, I find your insight reguarding players taking more chances with characters that they don't have a lot inveseted in to be spot on. Nicely done!
