No one person can represent a country. And no offense to myself, but I wouldn't advise Canada to choose me if they were going to choose someone to try.

schme wrote:But what he says is true. ALOT of people, for whatever reason, do not like you.

For whatever reason? Don't act like there's no reason. It's because people view actions by Americans, and then generally apply it back to all Americans. There's a lot of people in the world that are hateworthy. Many of them American. I suppose it may just be that the american hateworthies are more newsworthy, as well. But like I said, most Americans I like.

But that you guys live in a country that could outlaw gay relations or gay marriage? And claim disestablishmentarianism? Bull.
That you can have a president lie to send you to war to destroy a country that didn't do what your government claimed, and then re-elect him?!
That another President nearly faces impeachment for the much lesser offense of having an affair?
That many Americans seriously believe that since the UN doesn't have an army, they should 'stfu'!
Where petty criminals spend their lives in jails, and white collar criminals get slapped on the wrist?
Where very legitimate arguments against things that happen in your country like these, you ignore them just because you're American?

Just because these horrible things go on in your country, doesn't mean that you're a bad person. But it certainly is not an outrageous thing to criticize your government or other aspects of your society. Honestly, you deserve it.

There have been many finds that many of the districts in Ohio were rigged, and I'm sure in other places too. I can find that information out if you wish.

And Schme, 'attacks' are better than 'bashing' and that's what we were mad about.

So what happend in the election/impeachment/budget thing in the end? not that i could care less about canadian politics, i'm just tired of listening to you guys argue... most of what "one of you" says is very contradictory, insulting and just generally confusing (as usual) so if your gunna have a PROPER argument about which of you has the better News Networks then it'd be a good idea to boot that person of of his "team", he keeps scoaring own goals anyways...

Not that you really care? Well, if you don't care, I'm not going to bother to take the time to tell you. It would take a while, and if you don't care, and I don't mean this to be insulting, but if you don't care, there's no reason for me to take my time to write it, or for you to read it.

Find out for yourself.

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Really, what are you talking about?

I don't know where that came from, and I'm very confused as to what you mean by that.

I haven't the slightist clue. Perhaps I'm just slow. In any case, could you please explain what it is you mean by that?

Guys, come on, we don't need to be bashing each other or countries or anything else . . . discussion is fine, but there's a difference between "bashing" and discussing. Watch the language, too, especially schme.

Yes. You guys really shouldn't say things like that.

I mean, equating a nation with it's cable news is really very rude. Your going to upset the Americans.

*sighs* Schme... you had said that attacking and bashing were different, did you not?

And you said that attacking was like critizing by using reasoning and the like... okay? Does that makes sense?

And then you said that bashing was just senseless insulting (or something along those lines). Are you still with me? Good.

Now, you also said that you were bashing the U.S. news stations... but you did not attack them... following me here?

And I said that your definition of attacking is better than your definition of bashing because the first one might actually legitimate.

Does that make sense now?

And so the rich commie waited, and he waited, but none came. "I really hope they'll come soon, otherwise my point won't be proven. And I wish that they'd hurry up with that revolution, too."

I see what you mean. Look at ALL those people who came to prove you right. Well, you sure showed me.

Yes, I insulted the U.S. cable news. We've established that.
