I didn't read them hard enough. Thanks for being my glasses, Nick. Really.

And, no, it's not a CR breach. It does harvest sand. There, I said it. It's unfair to not have it tell you that it harvests sand. However, if I were to change the name of the machine to include (sand), there would be problems, trust me.

And by problems, I mean, you'd go to use the machine, and it wouldn't give you any selections. Why? Because you'd be using a "Digging Machine" and not a "Digging Machine (sand)". ALL existing machines would have to be updated in the game, with the change, and that's a hassle for the programming department. That's why name changing of things is... a bad idea... I'm sure there's been a few incidents recently (Sabre to Steel Sabre, anyone?)

So you have to OOCly find out something you should be able to know IC? (digging machine digs sand)
What about people who don't go to the forums?

It's not like I can make a huge announcement, it's just something that can't be changed at this time. Why don't you drop it, for once?

I'm sure someone in their town does visit the forums...so beliefs and word of mouth can spread IC...it's not a big deal.

Let's be honest Nick - not knowing what a digging machine does doesn't really screw anyone - especially if it can only be built where there's sand...
