Dragging change?

Postby Agar » Tue May 17, 2005 5:07 am

I'm not entirely positive, but it seems like a time based element has been added to dragging things around.

Am I seeing things, or is this really happening?

Perhaps you've had an experience with the over 100% dragging project bug?

No, this seems to be an improvement, not an error in things not working.

I have a certain character who's in jail and rather injured. He was locked into repairing his shield, but after the ability to stop working on that got fixed, he's been dragging a note. As he's really hurt and fortunate to even be alive, he's not strong enough to drag by himself, and everyone else seems to be dead or sleeping. He was only about 23% done dragging, but when I went to consider risking knocking to indicate I had a message I noticed the pecent dragging had gone up.

I checked the other people in the cell and none of them are doing anything I can see, and they're all healthy enough that it should have just been dragged if they had.

As I've got nothing better to do while in there, I'll keep an eye on it, but it seems like things have gotten better.

That would be my guess. Or you got less tired.

That character isn't tired at all. He's been sitting on his hieney for a long to now. And he's had food the whole time as well.

And dragging has increased since my last post. It'd definately going up over time.

This could very well save my characters life. Thanks!

Can you be absolutely positively sure no one assisted?

Or your dragging skill is increasing? If such thing exists anyway.

From 23% to 100% would be a huge change, how ever happened.

It's not 100 %, not yet anyway. And the change has been gradual, over the last two or three days.

If someone is assisting, I should be able to see that when I look at them, right? There's only one character in there who would assist, the other two hate me and are sleeping to death, and I think the woman is sleeping too. None of them are visibly working on any projects.

I've got lots of note dragging to do, so I'll be able to experiment more, but it seems to be the case.

Either way, it is a good change.

Both natural healing and progressive dragging need to be in Cantr, IMO.
