It's not easy to do, for one reason that's sort of obvious, sort of not.
Bodies in cantr aren't measured in indiviual grams. To use one on a project, you would need several people cooperating to move it into where it can be used.
To change corpses to where they can be consumed at any rate would require them to be seperated out into parts. It'd be rather creepy and a step away from the realistic way corpses are handled now to have people fall to the ground as small and large bones and meat (and maybe hide, which is even more creepy).
That, more than anything else, should keep cannibalism down the list of things to program to where its introduced when there's really not anything better to do.
For now, there's tweaking repairing into shape, figureing out what happened to machines and landmarks, roadmap free movement, breaking unlocked locks ... etc etc etc.

Reality was never my strong point.

Project skinning a man in his twenties is finished, resulting in X grams of human hide (ending up in your inventory).
Objects list: A skinned corpse of a man (in his twenties) (I'm not sure if you can notice the age anymore when there is no skin.)
Project dismembering a corpse has been finished, resulting in 15000 g (?) of meat, ending up on the ground.
Objects list: A fleshy skeleton. (In this point I doubt that an ordinary person could make the difference between genders.)
Project boiling a skeleton (big pot) has been finished.
(There you get some large bones and maybe small bones too. And a skull!)

I'm not sure if I posted it anywhere but not long ago I realized another plus side for dismembering corpses. - It would break them into pieces that are light enough for you to drag/carry on your own. Be that it wouldn't be very respectful but it would be handy for getting rid of murder victims and prisoners.
Oh! and if you could chop of the head of a person, then we could have bounty hunters that bring home the head of the target to prove that the job has been done. Nowadays it's very hard to transport a corpse, you would need a boat or a car and not all places have access to the sea or decent roads. If you just left the corpse lying around, just about anyone could bury it and then you have no way of proving that you killed them. You could also keep the heads as trophies, or stick them on a pole to scare off criminals.

dismemberment, autopsies, cannabalism are all parts of and influences on cluture. for example you can be more vague on descriptions of dead people and someone can choose to perform and autopsy (slower requires special medical tools) to find the exact cause of death, a gash across the torso but a gash from what?, an arrow through thier neck but fired from what?, emaciated but is that from starvation or disease?, and a heartattack should not be visible, that should be something requiring an autopsy, and sleeping sickness (account time out) should specifically have a special readout after the autopsy "no cause of death has been found"
and as for dismemberment and cannabalism.
we should be able to use the human hide or at least have something called human hide, don't care if the only thing you can do with it is frame or bury it, or even make clothes but, you know someone is damn creepy if they are handling human skin samples.
we should defenitly have human flesh as well, and distinguishable from regular meat.
heads should be decapatatable for sure, and usable as previously described
trophy or head on a pike and should allow dynamic naming
as for bones, they could be just human bones or you could have induvidual bones named "human femur", "human spine", "human rib", "human hip".. a few others, all with thier own induvidual weights and carryable, of course they would probably be for nothing than either decor or burying.
now if you want to produce an amount of blood that is optional
necessary actually and animals should spill a bit of blood too, every time you attack something "you should be able to make a bloodwine with it as a special potion for healing and recovering tiredness at the same time" amount of blood directly proportional to the maount of damage and the animal type or if it's human. and a certain amount upon a kill, of course the rot should be high for blood left on the ground, it is a liquid afterall.
you could also have human hair/fur if you scalp the human head and turn it into a human skull, x grams of human hair ?
anyways that's enough out of me

Have your characters became too Cantr-bored that you -players- started to think about this kind of ideas? Or players were boring enough people who found this game to share their flamboyant ideas with everyone?
"OH... I am a Cannibal!!!" (Does it sounds like I am afraid?)
