Repairing Bug II

Postby nitefyre » Fri May 13, 2005 8:42 pm

My character (acct: 8359 in Djorf Hills North) is repairing a weapon.

On the activity bar , it shows up as grey rather than green, and has a bunch of HTML looking format in it. When I look at the activity on the activities page, it looks as if I am "Repairing <char name> (date)" rather than "Repairing a Crossbow. <char name> (date)"

Also, note that this happened after I had paused (stopped working) on the project, and came back outside to work on it.

The place that is normally the button to view more information about a project in the character information section is a normal (not green) button and says

Repairing</FORM></TD><TD WIDTH=30 ALIGN=left><P><FORM ACTION=

and ends right there.

This has happened twice to my characters, each time right after they started the project and registered their participaton for the first time (no pausing).

In related news, I have an 11 hour repair project that seems to have progressed only 1% in an hour (I'm assuming I've only run it an hour).

Unless this means my character has incredibly bad repair skill, the math seems a bit off...

Oh, and I see the same thing with the button.

I just tried to help a fellow aki hunter repair their weapon, only to get locked into their project. I can't stop working on it. Good thing I've got lots of food.

Replace one bug with another. Such is progress.

It seems almost as if when the project said it would take 11 cantr hours.....it meant 11 cantr days! Help!

This must be some type of evil programmer thing, so their characters can take everything over, while we sharpen our blades.
I think, therefore I think I am, I think

On another note one of my chars repaired his longbow for 4 cantr hours.

The project went fine.

But after the first hour it was 25%
Second hour 49%
third hour 74%
fourth hour 98%

Curse you fatigue

Same problem here. Four hours has now been going on for a day. I feel trapped.
