Sadly... it is used by junior high students the most...

But I am the exception!! :D

Jos Elkink wrote:I haven't read most of it, but ... 6 pages of complains about a small colour change?! Don't you guys have anything better to do?! ;)

Anyway, to be nice, I added this to Flyspray ;) ...

And until then, I'll add a poll about the colour on the forum, which will be decisive.

You are 100% correct.

Okay, once again we have gone from one topic to something that really is not what I want to see on here. I like the color change and I wish that people would give it a chance before they start yelling offensive, (I don't care what kids think it means now a days) words out. Please, let us think about what would happen if Jos just gave up on Cantr and we had nothing at all. So, thank the man once in awhile instead of criticizing everything he does.

Cantr is still a great game and I love it. So thank you Jos, keep up the great work.

Yes, but it's not that hard to change it back, and it really blends in the the rest of the text. I almost missed the forum link.

Well from the looks of the poll it looks like it will be changed back so everyone will be happy again.

I still don't believe you didn't change it back just because you liked it and everyone else blatantly hated it.

Your girlfriend must have a hard time. If she tried to give you a hint about anything she'd be fooked!

"Here you go darling I bought you some beer for christmas, it's what you wanted..."

But joking aside, the flyspray project looks very promising.

Please can we have it back the way it was in the meantime?

sorry, I just mentioned it in a thread, next time I logged on everyone was complaining about the new colours (I was bemused as I'd just been on and it looked fine) so I cleared my cache and looked again, lol and behold it had changed within 24 hours of me suggesting it.

I didn't change it, don't have access to change it, could probably figure out what to change if I had access, and definately cannot change it back regardless of what anyone (including myself) thinks.

Just you wait untill I rule the world, then we'll see...

On another note, gay seems to be the word that changes the most... happy, homosexual, bad... what next?

Smart? "My boyfriend is so gay! He got, like, a perfect score on his SATs."

Mine finally changed over to the insanely horrible snowblindness...the unbearable brightness of whiteness. Please be super gay and change it back.

Fascinating

I didn't notice the color change until today, I think because I had a cached version of the style sheet that didn't refresh until today. Just a guess.

Yes, the white bold is pretty tough to read. It does make it more difficult to tell when someone is already dead, though

It hurts my eyes to read it, quite a bit actually. To the point that I didn't read the whole page for my favorite, most active character. I just used "find" to look for certain characters and what they said, and ignored teh rest. could I have missed something important? Quite possibly, however my eyes hurt too much from the GLARE of white....ack.

I had no problems with the orange. I thought it was a nice differentiator.

Hey, how 'bout a compromise: LIGHT GRAY. The contrast of lighting isn't so big but the color stays neutral.

I think a better solution is going to be worked on by the PrD: customisable CSSs (the files which control formatting options in Cantr)

Yes, impatience. Haste makes waste. Now, we need to think of a thorough answer to this issue, since it will continue to plague us as we play cantr if we don't fix it properly now.

The old way was pretty bad (after the addition of building links). This isn't better.

<b>Solution 1: We need two colors.

Solution 2: Or have we looked into using light greys or another single color which doesn't hurt, but still contrasts?A very opaque orange...?
